This Privacy Policy explains how the FreshersOnly mobile application ("FreshersOnly", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. FreshersOnly is a job-discovery app for freshers in India. Please read this policy carefully. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
FreshersOnly does not require you to create an account or log in, and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do not ask you to submit a resume or any application details through the app.
To understand how the app is used and to keep it working reliably, we do collect limited, non-identifying usage information through analytics and messaging services (see Section 5). This includes app-activity data (such as which screens and jobs are viewed), diagnostic and performance information, an approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, and device identifiers (including an advertising identifier). This information is not used to identify you personally.
When you save a job, mark a job as applied, or dismiss a notification, that choice is stored locally on your own device using your device's standard local storage. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and is removed if you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
Job listings and career articles shown in the app are provided by us and delivered through a cloud database (Google Cloud Firestore). Retrieving these involves a standard network request. We also keep anonymous, aggregate counts of how many times a job is viewed or shared; these counts are not linked to you personally.
When you tap "Apply" on a job, the app opens the official careers website of the relevant company in your browser or another app. FreshersOnly does not process job applications itself. Once you leave the app, the privacy practices of that third-party website apply, and we are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.
FreshersOnly uses the following Google services to operate and improve the app:
We do not currently display advertisements in the app, and we do not sell your information. The data collected through the services above is used to operate, maintain, and improve FreshersOnly. You can learn how Google handles data at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can turn off notifications at any time in your device's system settings for the app. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier through your device's settings. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app removes information stored locally on your device.
FreshersOnly is intended for job seekers, generally students and recent graduates. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data transmitted by the app is sent over secure, encrypted connections. We do not collect personal information such as your name or email, and the choices you save in the app remain on your own device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If future versions of the app collect additional information, we will update this policy to describe it before that feature is released.
